Audition Announcement: Bye-Bye Birdie

Happening: Sunday, February 9 (1-4 PM) & Monday, February 10 (6-8 PM)

Susquehanna Stage’s production of Bye-Bye Birdie will feature local performers ages 11-18, with a live orchestra! Come out and audition for this full-scale youth & teen production. Audition dates are Sunday February 9 from 1-4 PM and February 10 from 6-8 PM! Call backs will be held February 12 from 6-8 PM.

Bye-Bye Birdie remains as fresh and vibrant as ever – a loving musical send-up of the early 1960s, small-town America, teenagers, and rock & roll. Teen heartthrob Conrad Birdie has been drafted into the US Army, so he chooses all-American girl Kim McAfee for a very public farewell kiss. Featuring a tuneful high-energy score, plenty of great parts, and a hilarious script – Bye Bye Birdie remains one of the most popular shows across the country.
