Learn to make a pair of pajama pants! It is going to be an easy and fun project for beginners, who will have the opportunity to create a pair of pants using flannel or cotton prints and a draw-string waist. These pants would even be given as a gift!

  • Patterns and drawstrings will be provided.
  • Participants will bring their own selected materials.

This will allow for everyone to be creative with their choices for colors and patterns of fabric and thread. Students are encouraged to bring their own sewing machines, however a limited number of machines will also be available for use. Sign up online today! Pattern, fabric details, and other information will be worked out with the instructor via email to help you prepare for your first lesson.

Instructor: Helen Holmes

Helen has been sewing most of her life. Her mother first taught her, then she went on to the 4H clubs sewing and, of course, Home Economics classes in high school. She has 3 daughters and made lots of clothes for them, including their Barbie dolls. Since retirement she has volunteered to make hospital gowns for Hospice. She lives in Elizabethtown with her little dog, Mia, and enjoys traveling, reading, and baking. She looks forward to the class and hopes to make it a fun time!
